"We loved our stay at Town Yard Hostel! All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The hostel is clean, and breakfast is included and delicious! The kitchen is well-equipped and it's also a great place to meet and chat with other travelers. It's just a short walk from the city center and close to markets and restaurants! They even have a storage room for your backpack while you explore Mongolia! Highly recommended! баярлалаа"

"The owner of couples is so kind to me.I could store my baggage, eat delicious breakfast, and when I came to the hostel eariler to check in, they accepted me to go to the living room and eat breakfast, also they allowed me to take a shower.They're wonderful.I really appreciated.Thank you so much!"

"If you like to walk,everything is fine.But the main area of UB located a little far away from this hostel, maybe 30minutes to walk.So,you need to take a bus, but it's very cheap."

"The free breakfast was a very nice bonus. Hot drink, eggs, veggies and bread. Free tea and coffee available all the time. Very clean room and facilities. Very good location just a hundred metres await from the Monastery. Will definitely reccomment it."

"The location is fantastic as I wanted a place very near to the monastery that I am visiting everyday. The share toilet is cleaned everyday and quite nicely renovated. I have a so called ensuite bath room but since there is no basin so I have to use the one in the share bathroom and it is cleaned daily. The share area is quite alright, big with sofas and dining table. The road outside is pathed with stones so it does not get all muddy if it rains. Very near to supermarket and restaurants. Own speaks English and are very friendly. Transportation arrangements are also available at 100,000 Tugrik or 30 USD. Breakfast is pretty much pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables, fried egg on toast, or rice with salad between 8am and 9am. Laundry service is about 3USD per kg as hand wash wasn't allowed. The mixed-dom room is half floor down the ground level, and there rest are half floor up."

"The bed is quite hard so making it difficult to have good sleep. I was there during July/Aug period so a small fan in room would have been great since I could not open the windows due to flies and mosquitoes. The kitchen only have one small canister stove and you have to buy a canister yourself. There is a water machine but with so many people staying there it is not always providing very hot water so I have to buy my own mini kettle and cooking pot. I stayed for 15 days and didn't get to change bedsheet and have the bathroom cleaned. But am ok as I maintained and clean it myself. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy due to dogs, and drunk people passing by during the night, but this is inevitable in this area."
