"Julio and his family are wonderful hosts. He went to pick me up at the airport at 3 am, and again at 6 am because my flight was delayed, without charging me anything extra. The apartment is really nice and Julio´s advice concerning places to visit, driver etc. were super helpful. Highly recommended."

"Great apartament, veru clean, location near the beach, lighthouse and old town. The owner was great, drived us little bit around so we could better understand the location. Its very safe, near to several embassies. We enjoyed our stay and will always recommend to anyone!"

"Wonderful location close to two of the most popular beaches in town. The area is very safe with a number of embassies and restaurants nearby. The apartment has everything: a well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, fast Internet, mosquito nets on all windows and air-conditioning to cool down the bedroom before going to sleep. A special thanks goes to our hosts, they were very attentive, provided us with plenty of useful information about the area and organised an airport transfer for us even though we had to leave in the middle of the night."

"Very nice, cosy and comfortable little house with great sea view. Fully equipped kitchen. 2 bedrooms. Washing machine. Parking. The hosts are lovely and helpful. Central location, not far from the lighthouse or other sights in Praia. Would stay here again."

"Sehr gute Betreuung durch Júlio. Taxi vom Flughafen organisiert. Er hat uns in Empfang genommen und nach kurzem Check-in in seinem Auto eine Stadtrundfahrt gemacht. So waren wir am ersten Abend schon bestens orientiert. Das Haus steht mit der Rückseite zu einem Kreisverkehr. Ich fand den Verkehr nicht lauter als Wind und Brandung. Die Vorderseite zeigt zu einer ganz kleinen Sackgasse nach Südwesten, direkt an der Steilküste mit täglichem Blick auf Sonnenuntergang. Schöner geht's nicht. Vielen Dank an Júlio und Sónia!! Maren und Jens"

"Die Terrasse liegt ohne Abgrenzung an der Sackgasse, so daß wir unsere Sachen immer reingeräumt haben. Das war wenig Aufwand."

"This guesthouse is in a perfect spot at the top of the Paul valley, in a small village, with easy access to amazing hiking routes and also a great 8km walk back down the winding cobbled road to the coast (easy to pick up a coletivo or aluguer for a ride back up). We had the apartment at the top, which has amazing 360 views of the surrounding mountains and down the valley, and has its own terrace (besides the communal rooftop terrace). Sandro is an excellent host and has plenty of local information to share. A great breakfast was brought up to the apartment every morning. There’s a fabulous local restaurant next door (Andy & Dju) which uses organic produce and has vegetarian options. Can’t think of any reason to stay down at the coast if you want to make the most of the hiking opportunities in this beautiful valley. Hope to go back some day :)"

"The property is well located, only a few minutes by foot from the centre and beach. The hosts are exceptional, upon arrival we were send recommendations for restaurants. All communication was possible via WhatsApp. We arranged to be picked up by the host from the airport (12€), everything went very smoothly. The owner even propsed to keep the room until the afternoon when she heard that the flight out was around 6pm, without extra charge!"

"The accommodation had everything that you needed. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are big, you have a nice and big balcony where you can sit. One connected to the living room and also one in the bedrooms. You everything you need in the kitchen, from plates to glasses and pans to cook. There is even a washing machine that you can use. The accommodation was also close to the beach and near the main street of santa maria, so everything is close by."
