"Camelia was beautifully decorated and in the perfect location for wandering around Bayeux and accessing many restaurants and cafes. The pick up point for most tours was less than a 5 minute walk away. The train station is an easy 10 minute walk. The Tapestry Museum is a minute away however be aware it is currently closed and the famous Bayeux Tapestry has been moved to the UK. The Museum is currently undergoing renovations. Laurent was an excellent host and provided us with delicious breakfasts each morning and lots of tips on what to see/where to go."

"The house is extremely well kept and is in a great location with only a few minutes' walk into Bayeux. The main attractions are also only a few minutes walk away. I had breakfast at the property, and there was more than enough variety and plenty of choice. The owner was an excellent host and went above and beyond to help. I was allowed to park my motorbike in a small off-road courtyard at the property. This is a great property and I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"The directions supplied by Booking.com were about 1km short of the property. This is only a minor issue, but walking in motorbike kit to find the property was a bit of a struggle."

"Loved the location, the super cute upstairs room, great shower and comfortable bed. Access to the little courtyard for a drink was a bonus. We didn’t have breakfast but the dining area was lovely. It’s so close to the centre of Bayeux which makes it perfect. Free parking was available nearby."

"We loved the property but in terms of being helpful to future guests there is a small staircase winding up to the room. My husband didn’t love carrying my very heavy case up there. The WiFi was a little patchy at times."

"Very central, 10 minute walk to the tours, across the road to the tapestry museum. Such a beautiful hotel with attention to detail. Really comfy bed and a stunning breakfast. Really peaceful but close to everything. Highly recommend!"
