"The hostess was very hospitable, and a very nice person. She was able to assist with my very early start the next morning, and provided a wonderful breakfast including home baked cake and a very nice fruit salad which she made. She also offered use of her garage for my motorcycle."

"The place was very cozy, comfortable and extremely clean. There was even a dart board hanging on the wall. The centre of Senlis was walking distance and it was easy to park in the street. The hosts were super nice they even bought some food for us because they thought we were going to arrive very late on the first night."

"We booked this house/appartment because of the location in between our stay in Southern France and our home. It also provided a good location to visit some of the Burgundy hotspots like Beaune. When you arrive, the friendly host(s) show you around the lovely garden (with nice swimming pool) and the house. It's basically more of a 2-floor appartment that is attached to the host(s) house, with a corridor in between. All of this was apparently part of the previous gendarmerie station. It's not overly luxurious, but the house offers everything you basically need. The kitchen is properly equiped, the bedrooms are spatious and bathroom is large enough as well. The hosts are very discrete and very friendly, allowing you to use the pool whenever you feel like it. We were also offered a bottle of white Burgundy wine, which is a nice gesture!"

"Le quartier est idéal si vous aimez faire la fête : il regorge de restaurants et bars. Je vous recommande particulièrement la brasserie Populo, la nourriture y est excellente ! L'appartement est situé entre deux stations de métro (République et Oberkampf), toutes deux à 5 minutes à pied. Le propriétaire était très réactif, répondant à mes questions en moins de 10 minutes, bien que je ne l'aie pas rencontré. Les directives pour récupérer les clés étaient claires."

"Excellent place to stay for a few days. Small, but very comfortable and well equipped apartment with a nice view of the river. Good location - about 15-20 min walk from the town center. A lot of free parking possibilities around. Very nice and helpful host. The only potential problem - the apartment is situated on the first floor and one has to use a narrow spiral staircase to reach it. That might be a bit difficult for the elderly. We, a couple of 76 y.o. people somehow managed that and overall did enjoyed our stay."
