"Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

Es un hostal y como tal cumple su función muy bien, estoy consciente de que no se puede pedir las instalaciones o amenities de un hotel. Sin embargo, si creo que los cuartos privados se sienten un poco encerrados y el precio si es un poco más algo, supongo esto se debe a la ubicación.

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

el alojamiento no tiene elevador, el acceso al luggage es muy complicado, las camas son muy ruidosas al igual que el acceso a las habitaciones sin importar que tan cuidadoso sea uno para ingresar.

"Se encuentra a metros de una parada de bus. El lugar es fácil de acceder. Las habitaciones son muy grandes, limpias. La cama la encontré demasiado cómoda. Se agradece que la ducha y la taza de baño estén separadas. En la calle sobran las opciones para comer, muy variadas. El hospedaje se encuentra cerca de la zona centro. El señor Igor y su esposa muy amable su atentos en todo momento. Volvería sin duda."

"Excelente personal y muy amable. Varios baños disponibles y sobretodo suficiente espacio y equipo para cocinar y guardar alimentos . El plus fue la lavadora y secadora a disposición para los huéspedes. A pesar de la antigüedad del lugar y las instalaciones un poco viejas, la limpieza estuvo excelente e impecable todo el tiempo."

La ubicación no es céntrica, pero es una excelente relación calidad-precio.

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. "Mi estadía en Aquarela fue muy buena. La señora Luz y Carolina fueron sumamente amables, atentas y cordiales en todo momento, siempre dispuestas a ayudar. La limpieza estuvo acorde y el lugar es tal como se describe en el anuncio de Booking. Además, está muy cerca de la playa, lo cual es un gran punto a favor."

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"Perfect location within a couple of minutes' walk from the main train station (and a big mall with a supermarket open until late), surprisingly quiet for being in the very centre of the city, exceptionally clean. Great value for money. Very satisfied, thank you so much!"

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.

"Bastante funcional! Un sitio con características muy particulares de Japón. Una habitación pequeña pero muy cómoda para viajeros que solo llegan a dormir. Cama muy cómoda. El área de baños y regaderas muy limpias y con lo necesario. El área común de comedor bastante cómodo. La ubicación del hotel nos pareció excelente para conectar con todas las actividades que realizamos en la Ciudad. Sin duda volvería a reservar aquí!"
