"This was the nicest and cleanest room I have stayed in Sri Lanka. It is really good for solo travellers, but could be too small for 2 people."

"The service and food were fine. Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful and peaceful location. The kitchen catered for our specific preferences as my husband and son do not eat meat and chicken and my daughter doesn't eat octopus."

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.

The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they went above and beyond to organize all my trips both around town and further afield. They are very knowledgeable and always happy to help with anything. It also meant a lot to know that the funds from the guest house support a school for the local community. "I had a really lovely stay at this hotel! The property is welcoming, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful from the very first moment, always available without ever being intrusive. My room was bright, spacious, and very quiet — perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The location is excellent: easy to get around, close to the main points of interest, and well connected by public transport. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

Todo estuvo bien, las almohadas y la cama un tanto incómodas y la regadera no es de las fijas, así que como mujer batallé para bañarme.

"Zara Village exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was amazing. The location is perfect if you want to access Lokobe, they even organised our guide. Our favourite was having cocktails by the infinity pool. This was definitely a highlight of our trip."

"Staying at this family-run hotel in Wadi Rum was a truly special experience. The owners' hospitality makes us feel instantly welcome. Our room was surprisingly spacious, a real treat considering the stunning desert landscape surrounding us. Waking up to that breathtaking sunrise view was an absolute highlight! Plus, the host organized a fantastic program that really allowed us to immerse ourselves in the magic of Wadi Rum. And let's not forget the dinner! The Beduin-style meal was absolutely delicious, a real taste of local flavors that perfectly complemented our desert adventure. The owner truly went above and beyond by organizing a fantastic program for us in the desert. It was a real highlight of our stay and a wonderful way to experience the beauty and culture of Wadi Rum."

While our stay had many highlights, it's worth noting that the hotel appears to still be under development. We observed some buildings that seemed to be in the early stages of construction and looked unfinished. Additionally, we encountered some water on the bathroom floor, which was a bit inconvenient.

Talvez no tiene buena fachada el lugar. Pero hasta que entras entiendes el concepto.

"Nos encantó donde estaba ubicado y el jardín enorme que hay detrás de la casa para poder disfrutar. La cama era muy cómoda y espaciosa."

Podría poner como mejora que hubiera para colgar las toallas.

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"

"We love the complete breakfast the BnB had and every morning it was a complete meal. The host ensured we were settled in well. As for the location, it is very much aligned to places where we visited at the area. Ubers and Bolt should not have any problem finding the place by the roadside. My wife loved the book collection at their personal library so a good writer's retreat too."

We were content with the place. Everything was in working order right to the room, amenities at our convenience. So no complaints.
