"We had a great time in this house. It is very spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The big hot tub was a highlight, for the adults as well as the kids. The hosts were very responsive and even proactively informed us about weather warnings for our departure."

"The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!"

"We were a family of 9, 5 adults, 3 teenagers and a child seeing in the New Year in Iceland. Hrossholt is a fantastic property in a fairly remote location, but the views are spectacular. The house itself inside is very roomy and modern, as well as very warm with underfloor heating throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped with every facility you might need and the two bathrooms with their walk in showers, always had hot water with plenty of clean towels. The five bedrooms were spacious, the beds were comfy and there was sufficient hanging and cupboard space for clothes. Outside, the large hot tub proved to be a focal point most evenings and with no light pollution we saw in 2025 with an amazing display from the Aurora. I would thoroughly recommend this holiday home if you want an escape in a snowy paradise."

"Wir waren 5 Erwachsene und hatten Hrossholt ausgesucht, weil hier jeder ein eigenes Zimmer haben konnte. Natürlich waren dabei manche kleiner und manche größer, aber die Aufteilung des Hauses ist super und auch die gemeinsam genutzten Bereiche sind so großzügig bemessen und gemütlich, dass man sich dort einfach gern aufgehalten und entspannt hat. Und durch die 2 geräumigen Bäder gab es auch hier keinen Stau. In der großen Küche mit Kochinsel in der Mitte konnten wir abends wunderbar in der Gruppe kochen und am langen Esstisch gemeinsam Essen. Absolutes Highlight ist natürlich der Pool - ganz einfach über die Terrassentür zu erreichen mit herrlichem Blick in die freie Landschaft, viel Platz, wunderbar warmem Wasser auch bei kaltem Januarwind und tatsächlich - wir hatten das Glück - Nordlichtern direkt über unseren Köpfen!"

"Ein wundervolles Haus, mitten in der Einsamkeit und absoluter Ruhe. Alles war perfekt gereinigt, wunderschön dekoriert und man hat sich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Pool war ein Traum, die Lage perfekt um Snaefellness zu erkunden."
