Host was also amazing, very friendly, talked to us, gave us advice about our upcoming trip to the lakes, very sweet. 10/10 if youre looking for a relaxing place with a spirit!"

"This accommodation is surrounded by beautiful scenery and cafes with beautiful scenery. It’s much recommended for tourist who is looking for quiet and peaceful stay. There is warmer installed under the wooden flooring so it is very comfortable to sleep on during winter. Our stay became more interesting in the morning when the host enthusiastically prepared us a tableful of breakfast. She prepared costumes for the children and initiated to take photos for us within the house and at the beautiful yard."

I am very particular with cleanliness so I didn’t feel that the bedding and pillows were very fresh. The place is actually not difficult to find but we tried taking a bus from Yeonsinnae Station and we took more than an hour to look for the bus stop with the bus that took us up to Eunpyeong area.

Apart from the very cosy and interesting architecture , I appreciated the quality of the small things in the room , like sheets , furniture , and bathroom finishes, things that make your stay very pleasant. "We spent a few days in spacious bungalows. We were picked up by taxi from the airport and quickly arrived at our accommodation, where Cynthia was waiting for us. Cynthia provided us with detailed information about the property (water, safety, etc.) and shared interesting facts about the area (shops, restaurants, and the beach). The bungalows have a well-equipped kitchenette and a large terrace, from which we could admire the starry sky in the evenings. In the morning, we were served a delicious breakfast, including homemade yogurt and jam. The morning conversations with Cynthia during breakfast were wonderful. The guesthouse also offered free rental of easy-to-use bicycles. We have fond memories of our lazy days on the atoll, and we highly recommend this guesthouse."

The guesthouse is no longer the newest, but that's why it has its own atmosphere.

"Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful!"

"Beautiful surroundings, so calm. The host is incredibly helpful and kind. This refuge is his personal project, and you can see his passion. The surrounding villages are small but lovely to walk through. There are nice hikes possible, including to the peak of Mount Agou, the people on the paths will kindly guide you to your destination. They are truly kind."

The location on the map is slightly off, ask for a pin before you arrive to make sure you find the right place!

"This is a beautiful and well run place to stay. I was made welcome as soon as I arrived. Room was very nice and such good value for money. Peaceful place even with it being next to the lake where there was much singing and dancing and fireworks for the water festival (Bon Om Touk). Green and lush surroundings. I ordered my chicken fried rice when I arrived for 4 hours later. 4 hours later I was eating chicken fried rice."

"Prachtig locatie, uitzicht adembenemend. Mooie kamers en heerlijk zwembad. Erg goed personeel. Pluim voor Eric!"

Het eten en drinken. Er was veel niet aanwezig van wat er op de kaart stond. Zowel van het eten als het drinken. Dat mag niet mogelijk zijn voor de prijs die je betaalt.

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

"It was lovely staying in a traditional house in Kakopetria & being able to hear the river from our room. A lovely breakfast of cereals, toast, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, olives & cold meats (if you eat them) was provided. It was in a great location in the old town."

The bed was a bit soft for us, and it would have been nice to have a rug on the cold floor - we were there in March.
