"I got to stay here twice (before and after my hike) and I was so happy I did - I even got the same room, which I loved. The view was just stunning. I just sat there with a hot drink watch the lighting change on the fjord - just stunning. Please read my other review for all the things I loved."
"Not an issue for me, but just noting this hotel is on the other side of Odda so if you are catching the bus from Oslo or Bergen you will need to catch another bus or walk - it's worth it."
"Right on the fjord and the views from the bar and restaurant are stunning. I could just sit and watch the day pass with this gorgeous view. I really loved the local cider that is served here and served in a wine glass which just makes it more special. The room was so comfortable. I got one with a view of the fjord and it was just the best to chill and watch the water move through. Breakfast was brilliant. Such a great spread and they do cater for gluten free just give them a bit of notice. The resturant for lunch and dinner were just as brilliant. I enjoyed everything. I stored luggage as I did an overnight hike and when I came back I got to use the dry room to dry out my boots and socks (I could have launder my clothes too but I was too tired). This place had everything you need for your trip to the fjords."
"Just note this hotel is on the other side of Odda, which was not an issue for me. But it is something to consider if you are coming by bus from Oslo or Bergen. It is worth it to be away from the main area but you will need to walk or get another bus."
