Este edificio del siglo XIX construido en granito se encuentra en el parque natural de Serra da Estrela y dispone de habitaciones tradicionales con balcones. La Casa do Pastor tiene zona de salón con chimenea y zona de barbacoa. El hostal ofrece chalets amplios con mobiliario de madera, cocina, zona de comedor, obras artísticas en colores vivos, y balcón amueblado y con vistas a la zona del entorno. En la zona de la recepción se sirve desayuno buffet abundante, y se pueden tomar productos típicos, como queso de Serra da Estrela certificado y pan de centeno. En el establecimiento hay además aperitivos. En la naturaleza del entorno se pueden realizar diversas actividades, como senderismo, ciclismo, piragüismo y observación de aves. "If you want to experience the real Portugal, this is the place to stay. This isn’t just a hotel — it feels like a little fairy tale tucked away among the hills and beautiful valleys. Our cozy cottage had a huge window and a balcony overlooking a magical valley. In the evening, the sun gently lit up the mountains, and sheep with bells passed right under our windows — pure charm! There’s a small but fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare dinner and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Nearby, a pool with panoramic views and cozy spots to relax complete the experience. Breakfast was amazing — fresh cheeses, homemade jams, tasty sausages, and excellent coffee, all made with care. The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming people who clearly love their country. We felt completely at home. Friendly local dogs visited us, and our son didn’t want to say goodbye. We left feeling grateful and already dreaming of coming back. ❤️"

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
