"Me gustó el espacio en el cuarto, la facilidad de utilizar la TV, los tés que pudimos preparar, el desayuno variado, la cercanía a las estaciones del metro, el mercado nocturno, el mercadito y otras tiendas locales. También que está cerca de lugares turísticos pero es muy tranquilo."

"El hotel es excelente. Pero la localidad empieza actividades algo tarde, así que para cubrir ciertos servicios, tendrás que esperar a que pase la mañana."

"Angie and Yang at the reception are excellent. They are helpful and friendly. Angie is the most ideal Cloud employee. She should be given a Best Employee Award in Kaoshiung's Hotel Association. Congratulations. Will definitely be back."

"Breakfast was good buffet with choice of Asian and Western foods. Location was quite close to metro and bus routes to other areas. A night market was really close by. Big bonus was the laundry facility on the top floor with washing powder available from reception. Washing machine was free and tumble drier was a minimal charge."

"Our only complaint was the lack of window in the room but as we didn't spend a lot of time in there this was a minor thing."

"This place is exceptional value for money and very well located for Kaohsiung Station and Formosa Boulevard Metro Station, which is the intersection of the two main lines. The breakfast buffet was super with clear labels indicating whether it is vegan or not. If I ever go back, this hotel would be my first choice."

"My only criticism was the position of the power outlets in the room. They were too far from the beds, which makes it impossible for you to have your phone charging at the bedside."

"Very friendly staff; possibility of luggage storage before check-in and after check-out; washing machines and dryer for self-service laundry on the rooftop. My room was spacious, modern and very clean. Metro station with two metro lines and a good night market nearby. Would recommend this hotel."

"A nice place to stay: in the middle of the city, but not on the busy street. The room was one of these without windows, but clean, quiet and with comfortable bed. I can't recall breakfast there, supposedly it was just typical Taiwanese rice congee or seaweed. Other than that just a hotel."

"This room was missing a mains socket near the bed, which I find a big minus these days. Air conditioning was a bit loud."

"A pretty good room, which was comfortable for the six of us. The kids have gone mad when they saw the glass panels of the bathroom. All in all, it's at the perfect location next to the night market, but it isn't worth visiting as of now after the earthquake. Maybe in a couple of months or so, but Hualien isn't touristy now."

"we like The Light Inn as a whole. as soon as we walk in the door, we appreciate its sublime beauty of rustic interior, from the hallway; up the stairs or the lift and to our rooms. as The Inn is situated high up the hill, it has an obstructed ocean-view in every angle and plenty of natural light. our rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. the host is exceptional friendly and helpful. they also make great breakfast."

"We travelled by car, so the location was ok, by car everything is close by:) Free parking just in front of the property. But if you are going to the city it's a bit far away by walk. You can go to the center by car - there are plenty of paid parking in the city, although there are free parking, but you need to find them. The room itself is spacious, the bed is big and comfortable. And what I really liked - our room was located as bungalow - the entrance just in front of parking, no stairs, no problems with suitcase. they have bathtub made from stoun, which was cool and relaxing. Nice smell and quality of the shower gels and shampoo. The room had kind of terrace outside (as I said it was ground floor) with table and two chairs in the garden. The windows are just amazing - panoramic view in the room, a lot of light. It was just short stay In the hotel (1 night), so can't say much about surrounding or facilities."
