Absence of staff

"Very isolated location in nature, but course enough to get to Groningen. There a window that you can look at the stars at with when you’re lying in bed!"

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

Staying only 1 night ((

"Leuke locatie, makkelijk te vinden, goede verbinding met de uitstappen die we wilden doen. Onthaal was zeer goed, duidelijke uitleg, vriendelijk. Uitchecken ook vlotjes verlopen. Op de camping zelf was het zeer rustig, parking aan de lodgetent was zeker een meerwaarde! Lodgetent op zich was zeer proper, ruim, bedlinnen roken erg fris, dus zeer aangenaam. Prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader! We hebben er van genoten en gaan in de toekomst zeker nog eens beroep doen van deze accomodatie"

Locatie van de lodgetent was dicht tegen de straatkant waaraan ook een parking gelegen was. Dit zorgde wel voor wat lawaai aangezien er ook veel verkeer was in de nacht. We konden dit gelukkig wel weg filteren :)

"It is situated not so far from the Kolsai lake, the position is suitable for parking as well."

We ordered urta - the kazakh national house for living but the temperature was + 11 degrees above zero only, for south people it’s too cold for summer, thus we asked the administrator to change the place of living , she agreed but the room was only for two people not for four and the prices were different, urta costs 38.000 tg, the room- 25000, and administrator didn’t return the difference.

I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.
