"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

"It is situated not so far from the Kolsai lake, the position is suitable for parking as well."

We ordered urta - the kazakh national house for living but the temperature was + 11 degrees above zero only, for south people it’s too cold for summer, thus we asked the administrator to change the place of living , she agreed but the room was only for two people not for four and the prices were different, urta costs 38.000 tg, the room- 25000, and administrator didn’t return the difference.

"The location is excellent (10/10) and really gives off a strong camping vibe, yet it’s conveniently close to many F&B options. The room was very clean, cozy, and comfortable, with the bonus of having a private toilet."

Unfortunately, it rained during our stay, so the campfire had to be cancelled. However, the staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful—they provided umbrellas and floor mats to prevent rainwater from entering the room. Truly appreciated their warm hospitality and great service. Would definitely recommend this place!

Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. "Super fint telt med masser af plads til tre personer. Dejlig morgenmad, som blev leveret ved teltet. Teltene lå i pæn afstand, så man havde lidt privatliv. Sødt og hjælpsomt personale."

Stedet ligger i et område, hvor der ikke er så meget i nærheden.

"It’s was perfect for me. The full experience from booking process, finding the location, meeting with the people responsible for the place. Great kitchen and accommodations. Super confy. Very quite with an amazing view. You can see the stars reflections on the lake. Fish made by Vincent was mmmm. Delicious. What else, Oh!! Learning more about the lake and people living around was an amazing experience. The place was built with love and harmony with the nature around. If you need a place to recharge- I highly recommend this one."

Staying only 1 night ((

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.
