"Comfy beds and proper hostel amenities (light, charging port by bed, shelf) and a proper sized locker. Really good (and free!!) breakfast. Near the central market so good for food shopping. And a lovely terrace to hang out on. Would really recommend staying at Bloom!"
"My biggest negative is there is no kitchen for you to use. The showers in the bathrooms are a bit worn. And i'd have loved a coffee with the breakfast."
"The rooftop is amazing and the breakfast is excellent. The Wi-Fi is good, there is a comfortable space to work on a laptop, and the curtains around the bed are very effective and provide great privacy"
"The location wasn’t central but about a 5–10 minute walk from the center, which wasn’t a big issue. However, as a woman new to the city, it did feel slightly uncomfortable at times. In my opinion, the hostel was a bit overpriced, even though it was clean and pleasant. I arrived on the first night and wasn’t really given an explanation of the layout or facilities - just shown my bed. The hot water pressure in the shower was extremely weak (which I later realized is common in many hostels in Guatemala, but it still caught me by surprise). On my first morning, I asked for a recommendation on where to get a SIM card, and unfortunately it turned out to be a very poor recommendation: I was overcharged and the SIM didn’t work (tip: go directly to the Claro store in the main square)."
"I loved everything. I came back for the second time. The staff was wonderful and i liked that the breakfast was different every day."
"It’s so booked there could be potential to have more rooms."
"Very comfortable cute space, with a great terrace, comfortable beds and very good breakfast. The staff was also really nice, and they’ve let me keep my bags for a night while I was away hiking Acatenango. A bit away from the center, but very walkable. Really enjoyed my stay :)"

"Great stay and excellent value for money! Super friendly staff who answered all your questions. Clean rooms, lovely garden and relaxing rooftop terrace, free use of yoga mats, and the breakfast varied—one day a bagel with cream cheese, tomato, and beans, the next yogurt, granola, and fruit. Would definitely recommend!"

"The staff at bloom are so lovely, really friendly and helpful. The bunks are big and comfy, with block out privacy curtains and lights/outlets in each bunk. The lockers are a great size and can fit 2 backpacks in. The included breakfasts were fresh and good portion size. Both rooftop areas are comfy places to chill, both offering views of Fuego. The area itself is quiet away from the busiest part of town, which is nice since the traffic can get intense. The bunks and common areas were very clean and the staff make the beds every day which was nice :)"
"There are no fans or a/c in the rooms, which means they get quite stuffy and stinky when the door and windows are closed. Since all the rooms face onto the reception and common areas, they are quite noisy most of the time, more so when the windows are necessarily open to let air in. The bathrooms could do with a thorough bleaching but were generally tidy."
"We had the one double private room at this hostel and it was really nice. A bit noisy due to traffic in the mornings, but quiet over night. But what made this place is the chilled atmosphere, roof terrace views and the amazing staff, they were so friendly and helpful, even helping us out to get footy tickets."
"Road noise in the mornings,.but you will get that in most places in Antigua old town."
"Everyone was taking such a good care of this place and of the guests. I felt genuine interest in making my stay enjoyable all the time from everyone at the hostel. The purpose of my stay was to explore Antigua while still having to work remotely during the day. This hostel was very suitable for such stay. The breakfasts were tasty and WiFi reliable."
"The only think I wished to change would be the time of breakfasts - with sunrise at 6 and jet lag from Europe, having breakfast from 8 felt a bit late for me. However, that's probably because of the shifts of the staff (there is only security staff for the night shift). In the end, I realised that they can also pack a breakfast for you earlier if you need to leave before 8, which is very kind!"

"Good location, friendly staff although it's a good job I speak some Spanish as the host doesn't speak any English. Basic but comfy accommodation."

"If you want to stay in Zona 1 then this is the place. It’s a lovely apartment with wonderful views. Its proximity to the Plaza de la Constitución and the Mercado are great. Communication with the host was excellent. She made some good recommendations as well. The washing machine and dryer were a SUPER PLUS!"
