Áreas comunes adecuadamente iluminadas de noche * Excelente ambiente en el hostal * Personal amable, servicial, realmente resuelven * Estantes con candado para guardar pequeñas o ciertas pertenencias * Excelente ubicación (muy cerca del parque central) * Cocina equipada con refrigerador, garrafón de agua potable, lugar para lavar los platos y utensilios de cocina * ¡Unos gatitos adorables! (los perros y gatos me dan alergia, pero era inevitable no dejarse consentir por esos gatitos cariñosos)"

Que la ducha en el baño dentro de uno de los dormitorios no tiene de momento la conexión de agua caliente. Esperemos que pronto solucionen esta situación.

"Me gustó que tiene una amplia área donde esta la piscina, ideal para relajarse después de un día de paseo, si te gusta caminar estas a 30 minutos del centro y para el otro lado a 25 minutos tienes Mambo Beach, cerca del hotel hay un super mercado en una gasolinera donde se pueden comprar comida"

"Amazing location right on the beach, quiet surroundings yet not too far away from shops, restaurants and the city center. The house was spacious and clean with A.C., a fan and a fully equipped kitchen with fridge. Mr. Dagobert was very kind and welcoming, he also picked us up from the station. Thank you, it was a really nice stay!"

Keep in mind the accomodation is very basic and I think some renovations could be done, for instance our room didn’t have mosquito nets.

When booking on here, It wasn't too clear about the extra cost of breakfast and also when we arrived, the receptionist told us what time this was but then when we came down for it the next morning, said we had not booked. Needs to be clear on check in and booked then. It would have perhaps been good to have been informed about the wedding taking place when we were there.

We did not come across anything we disliked although the room wasn’t as spacious as what it seemed on the web.

"Believe or not - everything was fine. Nice, comfortable and clean rooms. - and ALWAYS warm water 🤯 My room was on the 4th floor so there was a terrace and I had a good view over the roofs of Kathmandu 😂. I felt at home from the first moment because of the nice owner and the nice staff helping me to find solutions whenever I needed: Taxi, organizing my trips, recommendations for affordable restaurants and so on. The breakfast was perfect, so I started always in good mood! - Thank You so much 🙏🙏"

Not too clean (still very acceptable and I would return). Single bed (would loved to have 2 separate beds). Air conditioner is fairly weak.

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

"We very spontaneously managed to arrange accommodation in an emergency situation. The landlady was immediately reachable by phone and even came to meet us by car so that we could find the accommodation quickly. She arranged a taxi for us into the city and helped us with the payment, as we no longer had any cash. The landlady was extremely helpful and very accommodating. We also liked the accommodation a lot, especially the view from the balcony."

The only drawback was the heater kept switching off & I had to get the staff to turn it on a few times
