There was some water on the bathroom floor, which I guess was caused by a leaking pipe. It did affect the overall experience a bit.

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."

"Buenas instalaciones, jardines bien mantenidos, bellas vistas. Muy bonito el lugar donde está ubicado, tiene salida para caminar por la costa. El personal es muy amable."

El problema de la ciudad es que no tiene transporte fluido, tampoco hay veredas y la mayoría de los accesos a playa son a través de escaleras. Si usaras silla de ruedas o coche para bebé sería un problema. El hotel podría ofrecer a sus huéspedes traslados con alguna empresa

the shower needs to be updated it was not a good quality either from the hand held shower or the overhead one and the rooms by the road are noisy even though they said they are insulated, they are not and you can hear the cars very well
